Hey all
I am new here learning my way around the forum :)
I own an R1250GSA.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Sw Motech Pro City WP.
I am looking for a good Waterproof tank bag that doesn't involve the straps that is completely waterproof.

Has anyone been using the SW Motech Pro WP? and how was your experience.

I have the SW Motech Yukon, same but 6 litres
Works fine for me at that size and is definitely waterproof
Great quality and I don't like faffing with a cover

Awesome!
How long have you owned it for?
is the lock mechanism still working properly?

Bought it May last year
Done Spain, France and 2 uk trips, goes out every time with me on days out
Had 2 of the regular Pro bags for a couple of years but sold them as I found this is all I need
Strap a Kriega 10 or 20 to the rear for more carrying load - Like to keep valuable items where I can see them

Thank you so much!!! I will surely grab one then!

I have the same and same opinion, I’ve also got the locking pin to secure it to the bike if needed. Great bit of kit and totally waterproof.

This is the one I am aiming for. Fits so well with the tank shape!
Does it hinder your view of your dash at all?

Hi HGS, just a question as I'm looking for a tank bag like that, I have fitted angled risers and wondering if the bars would be ok from full lock either side with that tank bag fitted to a 1250gs?
Cheers Kev.

Hi Kev
I have the Yukon 6 litre and the bars are fine lock to lock with both the OE handguards and the Barkbusters.
Can do some photos tomorrow if you need

I have the City Pro bag. Very, very good. Robust, well made, good mechanism to attach to the tank. Two things of note; first, it is a mild inconvenience when you fill up but not really. Secondly, worth getting a carrying strap. Mine becomes my manbag on tour when I am off the bike and walking around.

Thanks for info, have you got angled risers on your bike? I don't want to buy a tank bag and find out that it interferes with the handlebar movement, as I've heard of, on full lock the bag hitting the kill switch.

I have the 25mm BMW straight up risers
When I had the Pro City bag (11-14 litres) it did catch unless right back due to the side pockets
It didn't foul with no risers
The base can be adjusted backwards and forwards
The 6 litre Yukon, no problem at all
This helped me when deciding, once he gets it on the right way round
I cant say about the 9 litre Yukon
