Hi
I have a GS 1250TE2021 and wish to connect the suit to the bike, If I connect directly to the battery via a fuse and controller, will this bypass all can bus complications, or will there be repercussions?

That`s exactly what i have done on my `21 GSA - it`ll be fine.

me also, no issues - and just left the lead connected over the summer tucked away until needed

i did look the stuff out as its been a bit cold in the mornings just lately

If you use the positive battery post to the right of the battery and the negative terminal it'll save you having to take the batrery out to connect the + lead. I use a fused SAE lead on mine which then doubles up for connecting my optimate and my airman mini pump.

cut the ring terminal the width of the fastening screw and then just slide in

saves taking the whole screw out and losing nuts or other connected items

Good advice all round thank you. I connected the + to the red lead on the right of the battery (starter connector?) and made a u connector for the - to just slide in. All working, warm winter trips
