I have treated myself to a set of Arrow rearsets for my Triumph Street Triple but perhaps unwisely decided to fit them myself. I have just gone through the instructions and a number of torque settings are referred to for a)locknuts b) screws c) bolts. I have torque wrench but am not sure it will work on screws and I have no idea how I would tighten a locknut.

For the record I'm a theatre director and have no mechanical sense so if I've just asked a really dumb question please have pity on me!

I dont want to spend more money than necessary but do want to do a good job.

What if any tools do I need to buy?

All advice gratefully received.

Rearsets are no sweat, tighten to what you assess to be secure but not breaking blood vessels, err on cautious side, if after a bit they feel a tiny bit loose just retighten a bit, you do not need to buy any special tools at all. It'll be fine

Alternatively pop up and I'll fit them :)

Oh there's no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people too scared to ask :)
