Just wondering, has anyone fitted these yet? Preferably on a big 1200 traillie type bike. Not a lot of reviews out there that are informative.

Im considering these or reverting back to Metzler Tourance ( not the "next", they're rubbish imo )

Road use only.

tks.

I went from Tourance to PR4's and the PR4's where IMO great tyres - I've now had Avon Trail Riders on for c1200 Miles and have to say they are even better than PR4's

I'm on a 1200 GSA TC

I have a set on my 1200. They have been ok on the roads this summer, will let you know about winter when it's been.

Got them on my ktm 1190R

I was a big fan of the original TR91 which had brilliant wet weather grip, these are the next generation and so far I think they're a good tyre. I'm about to hit 4k and the rear is getting quite badly squared off, but 2k of those miles was two up with luggage in baking hot temperatures in Corsica, so I'm not overly concerned with longevity.

Good tyre ... :thumb2

I've had three sets of TR91's and I think they are the best tyre I've had on my 1200's so far. Just gone to Avon's to ring the changes but if I have any doubts I shall go back to the Dunlops next time around.

Cracking tyre.:thumb

Tks folks..

I guess I will give the new Trailsmarts a whirl. I know what the Tourance are like so no harm to try something different.

Im not liking the PR4's at all in the rear. Front fine, goid wet grip but the rear is notvolanted enough for me.

Get them fitted next week in AMI all going well.

@Giles nice one, Italy is fantastuc but only ever got a scooter there to blend in ;)

@Andyb The Avon trails? Spotted Potsky from Bike Social done acreview but not read yet!

Cheers.

Did you have a think About Heidenau ?? K76 are the same sort of pattern as Tourance and I happen to have a brand new one for sale @£45 as I screwed up and closed the wrong "tab" when buying a pair of K60 scouts
