Yes, just like all bikes with beaks.

The beak on the LC GS is the most ridiculous looking item ever fitted to a motorcycle.

I agree. It took me a long time to overcome my distaste before I was able to order an LC. Great bike to ride, but far and away the ugliest bike I have ever owned.

Ugly - schmugly. Ugly and beatiful are concepts abducted from human sexual attraction or an appreciation of form in nature and as such are not appropriate terms to be applied to the aesthetics of machines. A GS is a good example of industrial and functional design.
