Conti TKC 80 rear GSA 2014

My rear TKC 80 needs replacing after 4k miles I don't think that's too bad, but is it ??? two things please good people.

1. What's your best mileage on said tyre?

2. What's the best price out there?

I'm gonna keep snooping the interthingy and will post what I find. I did look for other threads and posts on this but couldn't find any.

One if these in the rear http://www.zenoverland.com/tyres_tubes/heidenau-k60-k60-scout.html and a TKC on the front and the wear rates become more even.

They look good ! But I can't see 170/60-17 which is the size of mine, unless I've missed something.

These are available now. Supposed to have much longer mileage life.

Getting back to your question

I got 10K out of my rear including long motorway sections to and back morocco etc plus plenty proper off roading (not grassy lanes)
Looking for one now so will report prices if I find one worth the feedback (cos they aint cheap)

I'm staggered that anyone could get 10k out of a set of TKC80s under normal usage. I couldn't even get half that out of my last set.
