I think there is one too many twos in the price, two and a half would be closer than to it than twenty two.
The seat , side covers, exhaust , mirrors, and faring are obviously wrong, and it is hard to detect any sign of a kickstart on the box or a centre stand.
I paid $4000- for my G/S P D four and a half years ago, and it had a full Stainetune factory type system, WP shock, rebuilt KS box incl -1 & +5, recent 1000 cc conversion incl twin plugging, correct seat and mirrors , over sized front wave disk, correct headlight cowel , sump spacer and oil temp and pressure gauges, aftermarket lowered footrests, and a few other odds and ends and the guy delivered it free from Mt Gambier 400 km away and chucked in a set of new Mitas E08s for my GS.
Bit it had 270,000 km on it, had done 2 1/2 RTWs, once the length of the America's and a bit of hard yakka in Oz , and it was showing the signs of a hard life.
Just correcting the things that are wrong on that bike could add another four or five thousand to the price, and a decent shock and 1000 cc conversion another three, so he is starting to get around $30,000- more than the going price four years ago.
Possible, I suppose, but not likely.
A better bike which was recently bid to $17,600- on Ebay but didnt reach the reserve actually changed hands for less than $8,000 - sold to the last guy who put a genuine bid in, although just how they managed to achieve that is a mystery the purchaser wont reveal.
