£10601 and 549 miles

Reseller

That's what I would call this person.

He's in cloud cuckoo land, giving you can get a bit of a deal on one.?

:blast

Makes me wonder why anyone would ever buy a brand new bike from a dealer unless it was discounted to the bone....

I completely agree, I've only ever bought one brand spanking new bike in 2007 (R12GSA) but would never do it again .......... however the pic below reminded me how lovely it is to pick up your brand spanking new bike ....... it's a shame it's only brand new until you ride it off the forecourt!

(Mine had 2 wheels when I collected it :D )

The big BUT..........................£10250 was all a free market bidding was willing offer:blast

Kinda worrying for a new model:eek

Reaching the reserve, has nothing to do with it:blast..............buyers have only bid up to £10500 on the last 2 12GSWC to appear in an auction for 500 mile bikes

It may have been a free market but Summer is over and I can't imagine too many people would be buying bikes right now. Demand is lower so price obviously falls because there are less people buying.

I'd be interested to see what they sell for next year when there are summer months ahead of us.

Having said that I've just seen a used one sell for just under £13000 at my local bmw

If it's a trade in perhaps they only offered £10k for it:)

They'll need £2k+ in it to stand through winter

The bike just sold for that :)

I have to say I found bmw very generous with trade ins. When I bought my gs they gave me £6000 for my immaculate 2008 4c8 model r1 first registered in 2010. It was a us import. However I'm convinced that they thought it was a 2010 model year ie cross plane crank which is why they gave such a great price

I paid £6000 for it 18 months prior to that and couldn't believe I got back what I paid for it. I was offered £4500 by honda on the cross tourer and £4000 by triumph on the explorer (I managed to get them up to £4500)

I'd already decided I was getting the gs before I got the px price. I'm not going toile, knowing I got offered £1500 more for my bike softened the blow when I've had the issues with it.
