£10 for each H7 bulb
Undoubtedly not in PIAA league..or cost
Most definately not in Micro DE and FF50 league
Way out of league of HID's
... but can you see £10 worth of difference ?
The differences far left and right are more noticeable than distance effects IMO
(I have used manual exposure for consistency)

Further lighting developments will follow in a few months and I shall postpics then.
:D

Yeah... I got one of those the other day & was pleased with it.

I didn't notice the difference straight away but once I had actually cleaned the bike the 'whiter' light was more noticeable.

A pair of Halfords H7 bulbs improved my GS1200 lights no end. According to my dad, they also improve a Citroen C5 (so now he can see me coming?). For those who think the 2006 GS1200 toolkit is lacking, Halfords also sell Torx keys (usual disclaimers don't apply because I work for them)

I did the same mod to address the light deficiency in the short term (pending a visit to BTBR in the Spring!) but I got mine from Lidl - £3.99 for a pair, and a choice of either "50% extra" or "blue light." They've been in a while and I don't know whether they're likely not to last as long, but then I do have a spare of each.

(Sorry Bear..)
