Just remember back when the original LC was introduced, the amount of faults on it were just about as bad. What with frames with no steering stops and other serious faults like that. If i remember, one forum member had three new bikes in very short order because of the problems. Im thinking a bad batch of cams are resposible for the engine failures, i know it shouldnt happen but when yoi build a bike down to price shite happens. The others will iron themselves out in time. Its getting a bit boring now, with feckers who dont even own one, slagging off the bike, they should fuck off back to the orange play pen and and do whatever it is that amuses them and stay the fuck out of the real bike section.

I bet I’ve had more LC GS’s than most on here, and have a hell of a lot more experience of them than you do, so I’ll say what the fuck I want, thanks.

Why do you get so worked up? You and Stick are very emotional, aren’t you? :comfort

Don't pick on me ffs I dont give a flying fuc what you think to be honest , you may have had a lot of lc , I have had 4 and they are great. Had other brands at the same time , still have the lc , go figure. You bad boy ,
Im with Del boy I would pay whatever for the right bike , I did try others and sold them on as they were just , average the 1290 especially , great engine but limited.
Thanks for your continued support and concern x

Im out all the time , 1000 to 1200 miles a month plus bike trips in Europe (no commuting as its pointless as I have a car ) I ride for pleasure and satisfaction. How about you

I was talking to Delboy, as he never rides the thing. 6k miles on my bike since April, between back ops. ;)

TBF having 10 of 'em in a row and doing fuck all on each one before you fuck it off and buy another is either total dedication to the world of consumer testing or a bit stoopid.

Still, your money and all that jazz. Just saying what the fuck I want too:thumb2

This could get to be a habit:)

I'm out on the same bike every single week. Must be prizeworthy.

Some weekends I may do as many as 200 miles, stick that in your pipe and smoke it:D

Anyroad, as everyone knows one can spend a lot of money on any BMW configurator.

It's hardly news is it and not really worth getting your hair off about:)

All you fuckers bitching about the 1250 are probably the same fuckers who cant afford one, so stick that in ya pipe :green gri:D

10? Doing fuck all on them? I think you have me confused with someone else, old chap. ;)

It's the principle old chap:)

Now, more importantly and having precisely no bits of shit on the 1250 at the moment I was intrigued by your views on the machineart head covers. Had crashbars on my last GSA but am now thinking why the feck do I need them if I add a bit of decent head protection? Recommend 'em?

If it’s not a GSA, and you’re not doing any heavy off-road, the machineart covers are very good. I didn’t bother with crash bars on my last couple of GS’s, and had a minor off on a green lane on my Rallye. Zero damage.

Will go that route thanks, trying to keep it minimal and really just trying to avoid low speed puncture of the heads.

If I stack it big time all bets are off anyway no matter what bars are on it:thumb2

I work four miles from home, so it’s quicker to cycle or drive by the time I’ve got my bike gear on and unchained my GS :thumby:
