£85,000 Airhead ~

Can we stop pretending that that's the original bike. Si obviously managed to sell it a while back so fessing up isn't going to hurt him.

The original 101 is still in the loft at hpn and is still owned by bmw. In common with a lot of race machines parts were robbed to put on later bikes.

I've worked on the one in the advert and it's an early r90/6. I also spotted the advert for the tank that's fitted and told si about it.

Yes, but there wasn't just one bike, they had a few of them I believe, it's one of those 'other' bikes that became Camille. Camille certainly isn't the Dakar winner, but I do believe that she is a genuine development/spare/practice machine, although we are only really talking about the frame and tank, the rest has been remade or messed around with.

Apparently, a note from Proff saying that it's real.:D:D:D

It was always bollocks talked up by one or two who professed to 'know' when the majority knew the truth.
Good luck to Si though if he managed to find a mug to buy it for more than the price of a good basic.

Shit bust I just don't think that I could buy a motorcycle from someone that doesn't know how to turn caps lock off!
