With the plunge in the £ against the $ the cost of goods from the US is rocketing, and whilst the shipping cost looks horrendous, that is about what UPS charge, so it's not the seller that's ripping the buyer off.

With goods over £100, you usually get clobbered for duty, VAT and a handling charge as well, so that sump guard is going to cost about £300 on your doorstep
