‘City’ Panniers

I’ve got an 09 R1200RTP with the police issued city panniers fitted.

They make the commute easier as they hold all my work stuff when mobile and Jacket and waterproof’s when static.

The profile of the panniers doesn’t exceed the width of the engine.

Is there an equivalent for the 1250? A search of the forum just presents the mobile road block type of panniers, I’ve got Kriega gear but ideally I’d be looking for something more robust to leave fitted to the bike that I could still filter with.

You may have to wait until the police start to sell off the r1250rtp’s ...... certainly the met police have them, with “city” panniers fitted.

Or find a kind police bike services who can “lose” a pair of panniers your way.......
Bmw won’t sell police spec gear to anyone other than police forces.

You can get the parts, just not the police spec equipment such as lights sirens etc. I haven’t seen a uk police spec 1250 with slimline panniers.
