And then, a pause at the Canadian WW1 memorial at Dury. Like the cemetery above, it’s a nicely presented and tended site, which has simple brass inserts with directional arrows to the towns linked with the Canadian army’s struggles:




Then onwards, through the little villages and towns, where Olympic fever is starting to appear:
