Iv recently fitted a Wunderlich screen extension. Its a bit pricey at £85 but gives loads of adjustment. Its a poor fit because its fixing screws clamp on to the std GS screen just where it creases in the middle. Its not fallen off yet but because of the extra weight on the screen top it dose tend to wobble over the bumps.
You can set it for perfect wind deflection at 45 mph, but at 55 its worse than the std screen, at 70 unbearable so you need to re adjust it.
Im finding two positions give a good compromise, I have a 65+ motorway setting which is great, and by resetting the screen via two clamp screws find a fully retracted setting OK. You just need to keep the adjusting Allen key at hand.

Does the Wunderlich Vario screen foul the hand guards?
I have the same hand guards as Micky, and the they hit my MRA vario at full lock. I know if I dropped thebike they'd smash the screen or tear up the side panel it s monted to.
Does the Wunderlich share this "feature" or is it cut to permit full lock with hand guards?

Hi Aran,
I've got the BMW large hand-guards and the vario on my 800gs and yes it does hit the hand-guards on full lock. That said I don't think it would do much damage as the contact is not huge.
I'm 6'4 and have the vario and spoiler and use the bike daily for commuting. Superb screen, little to no buffeting up to 90 mph.

I've gone back to the BMW Touring screen ... since I bought misen a top Rukka coat it's all snug as a bug .....
So the Wunderlich Ergo adjustable screen is up for sale ... I can't be arsed with taking it off and separating the two shields to clean between them
Fiddly and time consuming ... I like my 'bike cleeeeen
Anyone not so fussy then the Wunderlich screen does a marvellous job, albeit a bit wobbly when on the rough

Another tinted Metal Mule screen here... they look nice and perform OK but the decisive factor for me was the price! I'd like it a wee bit taller perhaps but after a a completely naked bandit streetfighter, a bike with a screen is a big improvement. As you can see I didn't bother with the beading.

The Wunderlich seat is OK Lunchbox. It was a prototype they gave me. Trouble is it slopes down towards the front so going down steep hairpins you have to brace yersen or suffer crushed nuts
It's OK for a couple of hours but then I'd be ready for a pee and a coffee anyway
Here's the Touratech seat since you were asking about them:
I find it good for all day riding, nice grippy cover and not too forward sloping.
