dont be surprised old friend .....its a BMW they all do that. Its proberbly the first of many visits to your dealer for warranty work

My old 1150 GS ADV -02 didn´t show any signs of any flaking or corrosion after 30´miles, but hey..new bike...new problems....

I saw that and went out and bought some FS365 - Scottoiler's anti-corrosion spray...
Which washes away easily
Unless you like washing the bike every day you use it and then reapply the FS365.IMO ACF50 is the way to go.
Anyone seen anything like this on a three-month-old bike?

Did you contact BMW to report this as a fault, if so what was there response?
I have a small amount of corrosion at the same location (starter motor mount) looks like an easily replaceable part. My bike is 5 x months old and I haved used it throughout the winter.
I dont know whether to report this or just rmove the corrosion and give it a proper coat of paint.
