► Post pics of your F650/800GS

ok. thanks for the info, may have to look at alternative screens then.:beerjug:

Take a look at the wunderlich ergo vario screen with the added extender.

I'm 6'4 on a comfort seat and commute every day and have no issues with buffeting up to 80-90 mph on the motorways. Plus on sunny days you can just drop the screen and enjoy the breeze.

Those 2/3 extras are by far the best additions I have added as they have transformed my daily ride.

... computer shows I have 59 miles left as the range when its full ...
Cool bike and have a great trip to Morocco when you go

Just a thought - I thought the computer showed the range left since the fuel light came on in kilometres rather than miles.

got it!

Finaly got it :) but seems i am not the only one the wants to ride it.

Hi Puma

Thats a Metal Mule screen which seems to do the job just nicely

Mods so far are:

Aux lights which are wired to come on with main beam and have their own dedicated switch located just below the indicators
Metal Mule screen
Toutatech hand guards and extenders
Tony Archer seat
G-IT sump guard powdercoated in gloss black to fit in with the rest of the bike
BMW pannier frames powdercoated in black again to fit in with the bike as they only come in silver
GPS mounting bracket located on the centre of the handle bars
Aux power socket wired directly to the battery via 1o amp fuse (allows chargers to be used)
Additional power socket located under the seat hump to allow charging of phones etc whilst away and needing to be secure
Handlebar risers to make that sitting position just a little bit easier
G-IT luggage rack
Fuel Titanium exhaust just for that nicer deeper note and of course much lighter
Mesh headlight protector

I think that is just about it apart from taking it apart and lockwiring all the things that are likely to come loose.

I will post more pics once I get back from the GS meet in Holland next week.

Regards

Mark

Ramen brother! I have a red FSM flag too that I fly when I'm on busy campsites so I can find my digs after a visit to the Pastafarian beer volcano and stripper factory. :thumb2

Ramen! I've been meaning to get a badge for my car and bike, but never got round to it. Maybe it's all the Friday holidays? Need to memorise Mosey's 8 "I really rather you didn'ts" too.. :blast :eek

Hi all,

Have all you lot told your insurance companies about all the mods on your bikes?

I haven't (Because I didn't think I had too), but a mate has told me that the insurance companies are getting really funny regarding pay outs on claims because of mods?

I always thought that a mod (Which you need to tell insurance companies about) was a performance enhancing thing, i.e race pipes etc, not new seat, lights, bar risers, new screen and the like?

Can someone please tell me what's what?

Cheers

Josh

Been working on changing the colour of my F650GS for the past few weeks and decided to change its name too. Seems fitting to complete it today!

I think they are great, no wind buffetting at all.

I've had one fitted to my Blackbird for years so knew they were good, just a matter of getting one the the Beemer once I'd decided it needed it.
