► Post pics of your F650/800GS

I took a back route all the way down to Bosnia and then through there up to the north back into Austria and from there back home.

It was a fantastic couple of weeks and took in some fantastic roads and look forward to doing it again.

Just thought I would post a few of my trip last week to the Balkans

Mark... I saw you at he channel tunnel at about 18:00 last Sunday. I was going to say hello, but when i went past you with the duty free, you were snoozing on a green chair next to your bike. Small world. I was returning from Disneyland with my wife and kids. I took them to disney as compensation for my 4 week trip to the Balkans... I returned the week before.

Hope your trip was good? Your bike looked good. Where in the Balkans did you go? I did... Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and the countries between.

Hi Guys

Just thought i would post a few more of the bike on the way to Bosnia which was a great ride all the way there staying off the motorways.

I have also attached some of our wild camping night that scared a certain someone as he thought the mountain men were coming to get him.

There is also one of me in front of Split North Port which was where I spent some of my previous life (you guys will know what I mean).

Oh the memories!! That sand reminds me of May this year in the Erg Chebbi. On an 1150GSA, fully loaded, it felt like riding in blancmange. Didn't taste too good when I fell of either!! I feel a 650/800 is looming on the horizon

That was on the way to Erg Chebbi straight from Arfoud and I was so envious of the 650! A week after this the starter motor went on my 1200 and we used the 650 to potter around on, so light! :moped::moped::moped:

Todays modifications

Been a bit bored in the garage recently so have done the following, please let me know your thoughts.

with regards the reservoir, I have fitted a reservoir from the 1200 which allows it to screw directly to the master cylinder however make sure you fit the 1200 gasket that goes at the bottom and not the 800 one as there is a little difference in the way they fit together.

I have some plans for the rear luggage rack next weekend and then Im planning on making a better sump guard with some compartments in it for tools and water etc.

so we will see how it goes and always up for an engineering challenge.

Well finally got the rear brake light mod finished this morning that I have been on about doing for ages so let me know what you think, although I think Chad should give me a cut for sponsoring his rear racks and using that as a donor, and yes the canbus is fine.....................

Have also included a couple of other pics.

Regards
