Wilbers rear shock, front springs and oil. Supplied by Wunderlich/Wilbers for the Iran/Pakistan trip .... great :thumb

Worth 10bhp when when on bumpy corners :kissy2

Returned to Wilbers DE after the trip for checking and evaluation, sent back to us afterwards ... still like new with 39,000 miles on them ... great kit :thumb

SORRY Micky :comfort no offence intended but I will explain my post :D

You posted about decking out your centre stand twice at the same place I suggested that mayby it was a Rut as like a groove like a tarmac rut as it was twice I called it the same old Rut :D :D :aidan

you posted "why change ... learn to use what you have got :nenau "

I pointed out some of the changes that you made (shock and cat) to make a point that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones :thumb2
( :potkettle )" learn to use what you have got"

But I beleive the shocks are so important to the wheels and how they perform I know that it transforms your bike as I to have changed my shock rather than learning to use what I had as standard fit I have a totaly different bike with more smiles :D

And no :D I did not start early started at 9pm ish but got I up early :blast :thumb

But as mentioned no offence intended, Have a nice weekend :beerjug:

F650GS wire wheels?

Hi All,

New member so first Hi! I live in the Peak District so some great roads and trails for riding on... hence why I'm thinking of a GS.

I like the F650, especially the size which will be great off road but the one thing that puts me off are the cast wheels. Is there any option for spokes, and has anyone done it and what cost?

Also, anyone ordered the new F650 GS SE?

(apologies if this comes up often, I did try and search to no avail)

Cheers in advance,

Andy

F650gs(puma)..
Im not trying to enlarge your head mate..But...That is the dogs botox of a f650...stunning bloody stunning...very well done...
I cant stop looking at it...Any chance of ALOT of close up pics and a detailed list of what you have bought for her...Thanks Tosh

I think maybe F650GS (Puma) list of mods and wire wheel info should go into the usefull links for 650/800GS? :)

Puma - many thanks for the info and great pics - now thats what a F650 should look like! (If your looking at selling give me a shout!)

I can't be the only one wanting a F650 but with spoke wheels? I noticed the G650 in the TT brochure has spokes on but no details - there has to be a simple off the shelf route?

Puma,

Would I be correct in saying the front is 19'', rear 17''?

Do you know if Hagon wheels would be able to build a set of rims / spokes / hubs to fit a new F650? (I'll ring them on Monday to find out, just idle weekend thoughts!). What hubs do you think I need to spec, F800's?

Cheers, Andy

The hubs he has used is a front from a 650gs single spark 04 to 07 and a rear hub from an 800 I do believe...I could be wrong tho' it has been known

Hi Andy,

Yes Tosh is right :thumb

19 front and rear 17 as original F650GS twin

Front 07 f650gs single 19"
Rear F800GS 17"

both are direct fits at the least you will need Hubs off of single f650gs and F800GS. as they are direct fit spoked wheels :D and you wave good bye to tubeless :(

More info:Here Post 56 with some work from Hagon

If anyone wants to do this I have a F650GS single Hub sitting on a shelf :augie

F650gs (puma)
Am I right in saying that you have to turn the front wheel around due to the front brake disc being on the opposite side of the wheel ?....tosh
