03 gs 1150 shuts off by itself

twin spark with 29600 kms on the odo, recently changed oil....when i turn the handle bar the engine dies for a milli sec and goes on again...
has anyone experienced something like this?

I concur most likely wires around headstock they break down where the cable ties hold them to the headstock over time, best to cut them off when you get the bike to prevent this.

whats a loom....all i did was wrapped the cables in the handle bar with a flexible plastic conduit since the insulation that came with the bike is starting to fall off

Check the wires running from the ignition switch back to under the tank, they flex every time the bars turn.
Edit, when my bike started sort of switching itself off randomly it was the sidestand switch, just short it out to test
