Hmm, when I bought mine, ABS was an £800 option and despite them trying to sell me it as a safety feature, I resisted and have ridden and stopped safely for 90,000 miles
I dont think the brakes are any better without abs, I certainately like the 1 finger super stopping of the servos,they are good without abs though but I know I don,t have the reaction times in the event of an emergency to be quicker than abs.
