Ok you knowledgeable wigs of the BMW world.

2014 r1200gs lc model abs light came on and no back brake(solid and wouldn’t move)
The 2 fault codes are 480A15(pressure sensor,control unit,rear) and the 2nd code is 480A35(pressure sensor,rear wheel circuit)

Just back from a 600 mile trip and the last 60 miles the abs light came on and the rear brake pedal just didn’t work and was rock solid but the rear wheel was free and no brake binding.

The 2 codes are below and I have looked these up so I’m not asking anyone to tell me what they mean but more if someone has had these 2 codes together and what their fix was.

10 miles from home the abs light went out and I thought it was ok and tried the rear brake and it did de-press but then the abs light came on again so I can say that the rear master cylinder is probably ok and something else is the fault.

I have also triggered the bleed option within the motoscan app and that did its thing but no change

Can the abs pumps/actuators be rebuilt or is it a new unit if that is the problem

Not sure how much different the twin cam unit is compared to the lc

I've just had my tc unit repaired/ rebuilt

It cost me £350. + Fitting on top

ABS Pumps repaired and exchanged https://share.google/75NVJlbiVd483tPQ2

Not sure if this was the place.

You'd have to check part numbers etc

Give them a call
