Took my bike, 2008GSA, for an MOT. Apart from a small problem with the side stand switch, quickly resolved, all went well and rode home.
About an hour later came out to put it away into the garage, it wouldn't start.

After a bit of messing about I noticed the fuel pump was silent.
Took the bike inside , removed the fuel pump controller, pulled the blue plug and rigged up a by-pass from the plug to the battery. Pump burst into life!

Success thinks I, but it still wouldn't start.
When I pulled one of the injectors out and cranked it - Nothing.

Any ideas as to what to do next? or what I've done wrong. The pump wouldn't run backwards if I'd got the polarity wrong on the blue plug??

Yes the pump would run backwards if you connect the power the wrong way around.

F#ck me, so much for the ‘blue wire is always live’
Changed them round and it fired immediately
God knows what I’ve done to my pump

…..and make sure you get the polarity correct. :D
