My replacement battery is stuffed. BMW told me there is a new battery for the HP. It has 10% more power. There are none in New Zealand or Australia so they have ordered one for me.

My dealer here in Canada has replaced most of the Hp2's they have sold with a larger battery. No longer have the end of the rope feeling when I leave the bike for a week. I'm told it is a battery from another BMW model and not an Odyessy that others have had good results with. The bigger bat is a bit of a stuff job that makes access to the terminals more of a challenge but the trade off is worth it

Every bit of added weight to the HP counts. When your on the side of a hill and trying to lift the bike up from a drop. I'll stay with the HP2 battery and have it replaced when it gets low free each time.
What gets me is BMW never say they have stuffed up they just sneak little changes in. They should have come clean and replaced the battery's we all have paid top dollar for this bike.

Yes this is my next problem with BMW getting my forks fixed. BMW say its only cosmetic the wear on the front forks. Like hell they can replace them.
