100,000 miles

Nice one Micky :thumby:

Is it kept inside?

Sleeps outside, summer and winter ... three covers and a ground anchor!

An old sweat shirt, arms cut off and sewn up, over the windscreen ...
A soft cover ...
A nylon waterproof cover ...
A heavy duty Wunderlich cover, several years old now and still going strong :thumb

If it gets windy a couple of BMW crate straps over and round to stop the lot flapping ...

:beerjug:

Well done Micky. Puts those of us with slightly less pristine models to shame. Magnet says what about that 100k party she promised you were going to have when the happy event arrived?:beerjug:

Well done to both the man and the machine.. I had the honour of rolling with you for a few of those miles.. :bow

Inspiring stuff. I get my first GS Adventure soon, hope I can hit the 100,000 and have half the fun you have had :aidan

Off the boat from Germany Monday morning, Monday evening saw me in Dent for the night with Long Tom, Mr Smooth and Dec over from Ireland. Tomorrow I'm over to Wales for the night, then onwards to Ireland for a few days :D

101,570 miles now :beerjug:

I've got my F650GS (new from June 2008) up to 104.000 Kilometers now...
It still runs fabulous, and does the job!

Do you think its capable of another 100k ?

What's the plan keep riding until it melts ?

Keep riding it until it melts .... then bury it :thumb

It owes me nuthin' ... I owe it plenty ;)

Now aiming to get 100k out of the Xcountry ;)

But yes ... It's capable of another 100,000 miles. I'd set off on another 'Long Way Home' trip on it without reservation .... it's now me, and not the bike, that is doubtful :rob

Liking this big mileage talk dude, makes a change from the BMW wont let me have this BMW wont let me have that kind of posts. I,ve 94000 showing on the mothership ZZR,and i could,nt give a toss for what it,s worth,it,s the memories that count and there priceless. Most of my miles have been two up with camping gear,[no intentional offroading]:eek:so its had a hard life,i have a breakdown of whats been spent on it ,but its in the garage, and its too bleedin cold to go out now,but another time eh.Looking forward to hitting the ton up club sometime next year, that,s if i can keep off the GS. All the best and keep em rolling.
