Won't mean much to many but it's the first bike I've done 100k on. Reached the milestone in Liberec Czech before reaching the floods in Poland.
Can't wait for the next 100k

That's a good effort. Have you had any issues with the bike during that 100k?

Now this is a proper thread. 👌💪👍congratulations. Just sold my 1250 GSA with 63,000 on, only reason? Great deal on a new one.

They do get better with more miles on.

A great testament to the reliability of the bike, great effort. Nice to see this thread as it shows that these bikes will go the distance. One of our RT's (1200) covered close on 150K miles before being retired (when wiring loom overheated and was toasted) but mechanically was still good.

Just back from a wee Euro trip and my 2010 R1200GS is now at 107,000.
Bike has had routine servicing. Biggest expense has been 3 rear shock absorbers in that time (first one replaced under warranty). I had F&R Wilbers fitted at 66k and those were serviced last year so the bike still feels fresh.
Clutch, brake discs and bearings are all still original.
I am starting to wonder how much life life is left in this bike before I need to spend for a big overhaul or get something else.

I like shaft drive so have been tempted to try a Guzzi V85TT as a lighter, lower, and less expensive option than BMW.

Good to know. My 2022 GS 40th Anniversary is about to have a 30000m service. I have thought of maybe changing it but seeing your post has pretty much put me off that now. It does everything I need it to with aplomb & I keep on top of services so hopefully I’ll get a few years more out of it.

That's great to hear. There's lots of talk of plummeting quality of components, but those numbers still speak of fabulous quality.

Have you never had a final drive?
