Big Run again this Sunday Early start from Bangor

QVMCC has been asked to assist with the Marshalling in Leg 1

But the organisers still need bikes to make up the numbers

Anyone free for a quick jaunt? Any part can be done no requirement to do the whole run

Nice one Roger, Anyone else even considering? Or is this sort of thing Below you all?

I realise that you all need time for families etc but Crikey this is an occasion to raise a few quid, ride yer bike and be part of something big. You don;t need to do the whole thing you could Bangor to Balbriggan and be back home for lunchtime?

There are plenty of views but no replies?

Air Ambulance, I pray you guys never need it but it would be handy if it was there wouldn't it? It is 100% charity funded the government I am led to believe don't pay anything for it!

Or Perhaps you don't like me or don't like the Quay Vipers? Or are fed up with charity things.

My feeling is it's local and it may well do us motorcyclists a bit of good and maybe save a few lives so it's worth supporting!

You can't see the kids faces in my other thread about the Childrens Hospice but again there weren't that many replies, The Kids faces and voices are what made it for me and If Poor Tom hadn't been killed it would have been a perfect day for a lot of folks. Post 10 and 11 in this thread

Jay
I'm still off the bike and the doc won't let me ride just yet..... otherwise I would have signed up!

Spoke to one of the guys who helped out at the Hospice run...... he echoed your sentiments about the kids and what it meant to them.

On UTV I player type thingy

Linky

Anyone know how to extract the video from 1:27 through to 2:45

Scary Lookin bloke that fella in piccy one Thunder Do ya know Him? Seriously though I was just directing traffic flow on the day and had no other input except my marshalling credit for setting it up has to go to the run organisers. A bit more forward planning on the marshalling scene may have been required but it went off alright on the day!

The run followed our 2 Garda escorts past the turn into Balbriggan that were there to escort us trough the tolls instead of turning off.

I think a lot of us found the RV point more by luck than good planning:eek:eek As I was saying Perhaps next years effort will be better organised?

Good pictures there Thunder........................
Think I saw that Italian plated Guzzi around Donegal Town a few Sundays..........think the Italian dude who rides it is over working in Enniskillen.......................:aidan

Greeted with a smile:aidan
