hi,does anyone know if the stanchions from a 96 1100 fit the lowers from an 1150,my 1100 ones are looking decidedly manky and i like the look of the 1150 ones better.
The 1100 ones are 24mm longer and a different part number.
I wouldn't like to mix and match.

Tarka (remember him?) swapped the whole (uppers and lowers) lot from an 1150 to an 1100.

in case anyone else fancies the better looking front end the stanchions fit straight into the lower legs,the fork height remains the same as 1100...
the only slight hiccup is there is nowhere to mount the brakeline splitter,need longer left hand line and then mount the splitter on the "fork brace".
