Are they the same? I am referring to the shaft drive/swinging arm and brake caliper and caliper mountings.

Thanks for that. There is a carbon hugger for an 1150 on ebay and I wondered if it would fit my 1100. Obviously not!

you may get it to fit??

if its cheap enough, cos they do have a habit of breaking:eek:

Would it be acceptably butch for you if I swim out to Ailsa Craig and swim back with a lump of granite on my back then sculpt a hugger from it using just my tool kit?

It should fit.

People swop 850/1100/1150 final drives from bike to bike.

Drive shafts and swingarms are different.

No, just thinking of getting a hugger for my 1100, and no point ingetting into a bidding war.

I thought that was the whole idea of auctions:nenau
I have just looked on the Pyramid website and they show different part numbers for the 1100 and 1150 huggers so it would be a risky business. I am not averse to a bit of risk mind:cool:

I've the cheapo plastic 'pyramid' hugger on my 1100.. and it does a fantastic job of keeping my shiney new rear wilbers.. err.. shiney and new.

it does need trimming slightly as it does on occasion knock against the exhaust.. usually going over road humps at naughty speeds. But I simply can't be bothered with messing about with it further.
