1994 1100 ABS.

I'm gong to give my brakes a treat this weekend (strip and clean / grease the calipers, new pads and fluid change).

Just checking that there's no special procedure to be followed with the fluid change due to the ABS?

In other words it's just the standard bleed through from reservoir to caliper?

bleed the points on top of the abs pump first, not a great deal, just a few strokes of the lever, then as normal to the calipers :thumb

I failed to get all of the air out last time, dont forget to tie the lever back to the bar overnight to get the last dregs of air out.

Use a Syringe to suck the flid from the caliper. Just done this on mine, Done in seconds after a braided line change.

Good idea Brian :thumb2

I'll get hold of a syringe tomorrow.

I do mine with a syringe, from the caliper upwards, with another syringe to empty the M/Cylinder, if you get it right its really painless, and you get to play doctors :augie

Interesting!

So you pump fluid upwards from the calliper bleed nipple?

Upwards, ever upwards.

I think this is how they do it in the factory, read this somewhere.
