Any good with Hevacomp ??
The firm I worked before before I changed track to I.T. were just starting to use Hevacomp but to be honest all my stuff was 'stone age' - long hand heat loss calcs / duct and pipework sizing etc
Any good with Hevacomp ??

.IIRC the silver ones are galvanised and the yellow are plastic coated. I was considering the yellow ones but with a red bike im worried ill be in breach of copyright from you know who.
Let us know how long they take to arrive, sooner or later im gonna have to spend the money so i can get back on the trails![]()

Yeh - thanks a million, Brian!!
Spotted these myself yesterday - and was praying nobody else had!! Also been after some, but rarer than hens teeth second hand.

Was it you who got them in the end?
IMHO it's essential to put them on if you plan to do a bit rougher roads.
And for those who do very hard conditions with lot of luggage (i.e. very hard offroad or 2up+full gear) the rear subframe bottom bits should be reinforced (those you can do only yourself). I've seen MOST of the R850/1100/1150GSes with broken frames from those spots, yes, that includes 1150s as well, who're doing serious travelling outside western world's nice roads.
That's how I did on mine from both sides (I did it before it snapped into 2 pieces) and I see most of others who've had it snapped into two pieces exacly from this spot here in South-America:
Nah - got pipped at the post - came second, though!!
