On my drag bike i use to get the dogs ground for more undercut may be worth doing on the bmw box

Ok ive found 3 forks(is that the right number?

One has a little bit of a gouge on part of it , but not the face that actualy comes into contact with the gear(think this happened when the shaft sheared.
All the contact face s look fine and on all three measure between 5.65mm and 5.7mm.
If you want i can post some piccies for you to look at.

Ps how many miles had the box done? looks like it might have been wrongly shimmed previously, just a thought
