1100 gs FID/RID

Does anyone know if I can retrofit an R 1100 RS FID/RID (riders information display) to a R 1100 GS?
The part numbers are different on EPC but seems to be same thing.

PArt Numbers are different probably due to Supercessions

I "think" that the only difference is the change from 1100 to 1150 for the "E" or 6th gear

I had 'E' on my 2000 1150....
