Started on my head gasket changing mission - after a bit of a fight getting the exhaust off (the inboard exhaust stud on each side sheared - the others pleasingly wound themselves out of the head).

I'm probably missing something here, but can someone tell me how to get the inlet duct (airbox to throttle body) off?

The manual says "loosen the hose clamps and remove the flexible rubber inlet duct" but flexible or rubber it 'aint - it's a rock hard plastic affair.

Any pointers greatly appreciated!

cheers
Matt

Push it back into the airbox.

Ah - makes sense - wot an eejit I am :blast

I did try this, but it didn't want to budge - stuck to the airbox I guess.

Thanks Boxer :thumb2

Edit - success - just applied some brute force in the form of a chinese burn and it moved :)
