hi, i was wondering if some kind soul could do me a favour please.
was on my way home on sunday from a camping trip to yorkshire dales when i ran over a large piece of curved steel piping lying in the road. the front wheel must have flicked it up on the radius and it ripped the sump guard off my bike. must admit it nearly had us off. stopped and retrieved my guard, but it is quite battered and bent and has a large hole where the steel pipe has punched a hole in it.
got the studs out of the engine block and have ordered 4 new rubber mounts, but i now need to straighten the guard. i have some photos from the side of the bike, but am struggling for the shape of the guard round the front of the engine directly behind the wheel. could do with a close up photo of this area if someone could take one please to act as a guide when i bash mine back to shape again.
thanks
