1100 throttle cable replacement

What I thought was going to be a simple enough job. Where do I go from here
Ive the tank off battery out and thinking dose the ABS unit have to come out,
can't be this complicated? Am I missing something?
So can any one keep me right on this please.
The cable Iam trying to replace is the twistgrip to splitter.
