1100gs brake bleeding!!

Yes its brake bleeding time!
I have resigned myself to bypass abs and try and get some brakes!
Where can i get a pipe to do this?
Need to get bike up and running for a long trip in october?
Any advice would great.

Just get one of the ebay suppliers to do you some hoses from the master cylinder to calipers

Think he was hoping someone who has done the conversion would give him a rundown on any pitfalls etc.
ie do you remove all the rigid pipes and abs unit / what to do with abs electrics etc.

Is your ABS unit knackered? If the brakes are a bit spongy, replace the fluid. Have you fitted S/S braided lines? As these help a lot too.
To make fluid changes a whole lot easyer try Speed Bleeder bleed nipples or a Mityvac kit (google for both).
If your ABS unit is ok I'd recommend leaving it in the system.
