Merry Christmas from Kathmandu.

14000k with no accidents, punctures or breakdowns.

Just my BMW topbox mount snapping in N India. Mended with the help of a local mechanic with some wire and good as new.

It's nice to know there's a whole host of helpful know-it-alls on these forums for advice. Many thanks.

Did you go through Gorakhpur on the way from India to Nepal? I used to live there in the 80s.

I'm sure we'd all love to see spme pics if you ever get the chance! :bounce1

Well done on your journey so far - hope it continues to go well.

this is the 'aged' 1100 , right.

Nice :thumb

i won't even bother to mention the obvious 1200 thing .

I guess it is an "aged 1100" yes.

The mileage is very low on it - only about 20,000 miles now. 1st owner bought it to go round the world and never went. 2nd guy planned to do Europe but similar story.

Lucky me got a virtually unused BM for good money.

There's a German bloke here with a 100GS with 180,000km on the clock and another is ariving soon on a 1100GS with about 200,000km to its name.

I've got no complaints.
