Having unscrewed and removed just about every visible nut/bolt/screw on the front of my '97 1100GS, I still cannot get to the nut(s) holding the front indicators on ! Can someone please shed light on this, and tell me what to do ?

I seem to recall a thread on this very subject but cannot find it today !

remove the screen
remove the headlight/clocks
remove the bar the headlight was bolted on
remove inner grey fairing panel

Hey presto! There you are.

(it's not as think as you tough)

Cheers Max !

Just had time to clean and grease the brake pad pins, and there's a response ! I'll put the wheel back on then !

Remove the lens, bulb and silver reflector. You'll then see two cross heads screws fixing a steel clamp on the LH side of the indicator body. Remove the clamp and the indicator 'body' comes off the stem.

If you want to remove the stem I ain't got a clue - I did try but when the parts coming off got silly it occurred to me to as above. I was only trying to replace the body/head.
