I have just measured up my RH TB for a possible Carb up/downgrade (stop laughing
). As I was doing this i noticed the Rubber manifold was twisting slightly when I was removing the airbox tube. I unbolted it and it seems to be held on by F all!
It was either a BMW dry "ribbed" arrangement where they compressed when bolted up.... or it was another strange BM gasket material?
Do I used some liquid gasket and re bolt or is there some strange "other" way?
Never had need in my 3 GS's to remove this before and now it's helped itself...
