This isn't a for sale thread so don't bounce it into the for sale section. I'll do that myself at a later date. This is only a general query.

1998 1100GS. Mechanically very good but a little bit short cosmetically.
Not a rat by any means but compared to some minters you see around, it's a little bit short of that standard. Hepco and Becker engine and bodywork bars.
Touratech footrests and original toolkit, new rear Anakee. 50K miles.

Thinking of selling it to be replaced by possibly a DRz, so what ball park should I be asking?

Will be selling mine soon also. Sounds similar to yours but with higher mileage. 1998, 67k miles H&B engine bars, gearbox hard parts, braided hoses. A little tatty and could do with a service. Was thinking around the €1800 as it stands or €2k+ once it's cleaned up a bit. Dunno.. maybe that's too low?

€1800 would be giving it away. depending on condition I'd be hoping for between €2000 and €2400. I was just wondering what other people thought.

To be honest I don't know myself. I'd like to get two grand but the arse is really gone out of the market.

Too cheap.........

CP, ask for €2'600 and don't settle for under €2'300, I think you're
undervaluing your bike based on the arse falling out of the value of
lesser machines. Mine was as ropey as feck and I had done some
deplorable things to it, much higher mileage too.

Excellent choice regarding the DRz by the way, try get the "E". :thumb2

Thanks Daithi, thats kinda what I was thinking myself, but I wanted to hear it from someone else who would be
knowledgeable on these matters. The idea is to get a jack of all trades sort of bike. Commuter, green laner and
something I can go offroad on as well with a set of knobblies ( not my knees ).

I don't plan on being GSless for too long though. I might try to pick up an 1150 in a year or two again.
