1100GS suspension set up for 2 up and panniers

I know there is no definitive answer but any tips on suspension setting and tyre pressures on the old girl for a pillion with panniers, the wife isnt too large.

Am hoping to take her to Spain in September via ferry to Santander to watch a stage or two of La Vuelta and then ride across Spain to Barcelona and then back home through France..

The last time a rode a bike in Europe was about 30 years ago, same wife on a Fireblade did Cherbourg to the Dordogne in one hit, and my arse and I was in tears when we arrived.

Not fussed about taking loads of tools or spares if she breaks down will just call the recovery services.

Tyre pressures for 1150GS. Probably the same.
Increase pre-load on shock. How much? You could measure sag but I'd just use judgement on a test ride.
Adjust headlight too.

How do you adjust the headlight on an 1100?

Rebound damping will be staying as is as the screw is well and truly seized, prob never been touched, so I is not going to risk buggering that up and needing a new rear shock...

When I load up on my R1100GS I just run 36/39 psi in tyres also just crank up the preload adjuster to max seems to work ok
