i have a 96 1100gs and would like to check my co2 pot is correctly set up is there a way for me to do this at home.the reason its running a bit rich also can i check the injectors aswell
Mine seems to run rich, also - wonder what he did to cure it, Sid?
I've checked the TPS, and cleaned the injectors, but still a dribble of soot on end of silencer - and plugs soot up in no time. Mine's a German import - so CAT and no CO pot.

I cured that by swapping the German exhaust on my bike over for a UK spec one i got from ebay nice and cheap (unused for £25). I then (as per steptoes advice) simply disconnected the Lamda sensor cable at the loom. and threw the whole caboodle in the bin. so now have a bike with no CO pot. No lamda/cat. In theory this means the bike is running in 'Limp mode' - the reality is it runs brilliantly. a smidge of soot on the exhaust builds up over 3 tank fills. plugs are fine. 200 to the tank.... pulls like a train.
