Hi Everybody,

came home on the back of an AA truck again, large seal in the final drive has given up the ghost. Not too much of a problem but my bike is non abs so doesn't have the sensor in it or the holes. I have another fully serviced final drive which is an abs type and does have the holes in it but no sensor. So, I am looking for a sensor, it doesn't need t be working as it is only acting as a blank to fill the holes. Does anyone have a non working sensor kicking about and be willing to part with it. I'll be back on the road again while i repair the original drive.

Have a good rummage in all those boxes you have lying about.

Take care and ride safe,

Johnteeman.

Do you have access to a 3D printer? Perhaps you could print a suitable blanking plug?

Hi Robc,

No I don't have access to a 3d printer.

Thanks for the input though.

Take care,

Johntee

I have one but I don't know if the ABS plastic I use is suitable for being in contact with oil and I don't know its ability to withstand the temperature. I'd be happy to print one for you if someone could post the dimensions. Obviously, you'd be using it at your own risk. Clearly, an old sensor would be your best bet though.

Thanks for the offer Robc. I still trying to source an original non working one.

Ride safe,

Hi there,

Got one on order from Motorworks, £20 for a non working sensor, bit steep for an item they were going to throw in the bin.

Ride safe folks,

Johnteeman.
