Greetings oh fonts of knowledge.
I bought meself a TT extendable gear lever off a nice chap on this here sitre a few weeks ago. I came to fit it, but have found that the wee allen head in the inside of the rotating bit where the standard gear lever rocks up and down, is made of cheese and has rounded off.
I could drill two holes and fabricate a turning device, but I cant get the little fecker off to hold it still to drill it
Now then. After dosing it with mucho WD40 and leaving it, it still won't come off.
Anyone done this before? Is the damned thing a left hand thread? Shall I just sell on the TT kit?
Answers on a virtual postcard please.
