Other way around. Something to do with the clutch action pushing the crank.
My previous 1150 made a noise at tickover, it was due to the idler shaft in the gearbox or something. Mr Scriminger said it was common on the E box and not to worry. Disappeared when the clutch was pulled in. I thought it was the clutch release bearing, but it wasn't. The bike is still out there racking up miles without issue. I did 2 tours of France and Spain with only a broken alternator belt to fix.
