should have them in the powder coaters early next week! been hanging on to the 1100 bars so they can go in with next batch of 1150 bars
they are a low volume turn-over item, around 1 per 30 of 1150 lightbars
was hoping to get them in this week but been too busy, sorry for not getting back to you

That's some very good news!
Anyway, that 1/30 ratio took me by surprise! I would have never imagined the demand for 1100 bars was so low!
David - Just received my kit in the post. Really impressed with the quality - superb job and many thanks.

just tape it up onto the clutch line so you can easy reach it with the left hand

see post #124 for a neat switch install with a simple bracket
or
do as most do... just cable tie and black electrical tape it onto the clutch line

Thought you might be interested in seeing how I mounted the switch. I've installed it where the Aux power socket was. 2nd power socket remains over the starter motor...
Pretty straight forward to replace, power socket unscrews, removing the tank made this easier then simply screw in the switch. You'll need a large-ish washer as the hole is slightly to big for the switch

i only have 3 more kits for the 1150 available at the old/existing price
the batch after that will suffer a price increase, i have kept the £75 price for a kit as long as possible.. when these 3 kits are gone the price will have to be raised to £80 posted mainland UK.
lightbars will be going up from £30 to £33 posted mainland UK, i have kept the price as low as i can for as long as i can. but the raw material costs can't be ignored much longer

Is there any possibility someone can post a picture of switch locations please? As in taped to the clutch cable etc... I'm picking up my 1150GS this weekend/next week and i'd really like to have a good look at where the best place for the switch is, before i start attacking it.

sorry for not getting back, i have been really busy with my "proper job" its been mad busy for a couple of months.
i actually fabricate the bars from sheet and turn the spacers etc on my lathe. and have been running down a large batch of 1150 bars i made earlier in the year when work was quieter, i am now down to half a dozen 1150 bars so am going to have to run a batch off in the next week or so (after the WEE-Kend)
yours is still the only 1100 enquiry i have had in the last 2 months. so it just has not been a priority, sorry but that is the truth. they will go in for powder coat when i put the next batch of 1150 bars in, it has to be that way to keep the costs down.
