GREAT MISSENDEN
I just bought one with a wonky r/h mirror so i bought one from Motorworks but its different to what's in there. If you see the mage the one on the left has a much longer thread. Does anyone know where I could buy a pair that would fit please?

Part number is 51162307769
Type that into Motorworks and it comes up with two image's both similar to your picture above. Different prices too.
Could be worth a call as I think you have been supplied the wrong one.

Hope this helps

i recently bought a mirror from motorworks. Looks like your shorter thread one. Came with the same nut and a spring washer. Vibrates worse than the original...

I replaced mine with K1200R mirrors, which fit perfectly with one minor Dremel modification…

I did fit the K1200RS mirrors and they fit without Dremling anything, straight swap...brilliant

Put simply, the K mirrors foul the 'fast-start' lever on the GS and need a little scallop ground out to allow full use of the lever. On some bikes it's not necessary but most will need it.

ps - Much better rear view, and somewhere to hang ferry tickets :thumb
