Monster 1200R Mirrors coming loose?

Well after getting rid of the bar end mirrors on my Monster I replaced them with a second hand set of genuine Ducati mirrors that bolt to the clamps on the handlebars. In use and in particular under hard acceleration or high speed they blow back, I really darnt tighten up the Allen bolts anymore for fear of stripping the thread. So im wondering if im missing something that fits between the mirror and the clamp ? Anyone have a solution please?

It sounds like you are missing the damper washers, a thick hard rubber washer under the arm that once clamped down onto holds the arm in place.
