My mirrors keep coming loose

[Slowdown]

I have a problem where my mirrors keep coming loose. I don't ever remember knocking them, but once every couple of months one of them (the RHS one today on the M25) comes loose.

Now I tighten them to the recommended torques (25 and 30nm) - there's no grease involved and they've not corroding or anything.

I'm tempted to use thread lock, but there's probabaly a reason why BMW don't

So, anyone got any tips to keep them rigid? Perhaps put a viagra in the bottom of the thread?

I've had this problem on various bikes, though not with the GS, and a nip up usually fixed it.

I would be tempted to nip them up a little bit tighter and/or use threadlock.

Loctite. Defo. Nice light grade so it just holds together but can still be undone if needed.
